Granny square poncho – Learn to Crochet

Granny square poncho is one of the favorite garments for most ladies, so easy to put on if you feel a little cold and perfect to wear on summer nights. With the winter season upon us, it’s time to do a quick round-up of free crochet poncho patterns for women. 

They can be made all year-round but it’s best worn during the fall and winter seasons. I am so excited to share a fun and funky granny square project with you today–so get your crochet hook ready! I glean so much inspiration from Izildinha Belfiore and am happy to be able to share a project in hopes of inspiring you. 

You can modify this pattern to be bigger or smaller by making the granny squares bigger or smaller, just make all four the same size. This would look super cute in an adult’s version.
