This washcloth pattern very easy and very cute. You can make a gift for your baby showers or birthday parties. Choose your own colours and make your gifts according to your concept.
Materials: 1.75 mm hook, Tapestry needle
Stitches used
Chain: ch
Single crochet:sc
Double crochet:dc
Stitch: st
Puff Stitch:puff st:Yarn over and insert your hook 4th st.yarn over and pull.Then insert your hook same st and pull a yarn again and do it totally 4 times. Then pull of it all and ch1 for lock the yarns and you have a puff st.
Notes When you see *( )** it means you repeat the instructions in between *( )** Where you see the word ?turn? it means to turn your work clockwise and work back down the row.
Pattern
Row 1: Ch3 and strength the yarn and insert the first ch and make a puff st+(strength the yarn and insert the top of the first puff st and make one more puff st) repeat that until you have 20 puff st.
Row 2: Ch1+insert that Ch1 and make a puff st+Ch2+make one more puff st in the same st+*[Ch2+(make a puff st between of two puff stitches of previous row+Ch2+make one more puff st in the same sp)]**
Row 3: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]**
Row 4: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]**
Row 5: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]**
Row 6: Change your colour in the ch2 sp.+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2]** repeat the 5 times +skip 5 puff st groups for the arm seperation+insert the 6th Ch2 sp and +*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** repeat the 5 times+skip 5 puff st groups for the arm seperation.
At the end of the Row 6, you have 10 puff st groups.
Row 7: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** totally you have 10 puff st groups.
Row 8: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** totally you have 10 puff st groups.
Row 9: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** totally you have 10 puff st groups.
Row 10: Change your colour in the ch2 sp.+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** repeat that 2 times + (make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** repeat that 4 times +(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+*[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp)+Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]** repeat that 2 times.
Row 11: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+ *[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp) in every Ch2 sp of previous row + Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]
Row 12: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+ *[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp) in every Ch2 sp of previous row + Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]
Row 13: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+ *[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp) in every Ch2 sp of previous row + Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]
Row 14: Change your colour in the Ch2 sp+ *[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp) in every Ch2 sp of previous row + Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]
Row 15: Sl st to the Ch2 sp+ *[(make a puff st in the ch2 sp+Ch2+make a puff st in the same ch2 sp) in every Ch2 sp of previous row + Ch2 and move to the other Ch2 sp]
Row 16+Row 17+Row 18 as same as Row 15.
Border Insert the Ch2 sp and make a sc +*( grab the yarn and make a dc in to the next Ch2 sp+Ch3+insert your hook between sc and dc,grab the yarn and make a sc +*(yarn over and insert the same sp and make a dc+Ch3+insert your hook between of two dc and grab the yarn,make a sc)** repeat that until you have 5 groups+move to the next Ch2 sp and make a sc)**
